This Privacy Policy explains what information Interned collects, how we use it, and who we share it with. It applies to students and companies using the platform.
If you register as a student: name, email, phone number, institute name, degree/program, semester or graduation status, your resume (if you upload one), LinkedIn profile, portfolio link (if provided), and the type of role you're looking for.
If you register a company: company name, email, website, LinkedIn page, logo, industry, and location.
When you apply to a listing or post one: your application (linking your student profile to a specific post), or the internship details you submit as a company.
We don't currently use any analytics or advertising tracking on the site.
When you apply to an internship, the company you applied to can see your profile details and resume through their dashboard.
Once a company is approved, its name, industry, location, and logo become publicly visible on Interned, and may also be announced in our public community channels. New internship listings are announced the same way. Internal notifications about new company registrations are only ever visible to our own admin team, never publicly.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share student contact details or resumes with anyone other than the specific companies you choose to apply to.
We use a small number of trusted third-party service providers to operate Interned — for example, to handle sign-in, store data securely, deliver emails, and collect optional feedback. These providers only process data on our behalf, under their own privacy and security practices, and don't use your information for their own purposes.
Your data is stored with industry-standard access controls in place. Resumes are stored privately and are only ever accessed through short-lived, signed links — never made publicly accessible. Sensitive operations happen server-side using credentials that aren't exposed to your browser.
We keep your profile and application data while your account is active. Internship listings that a company marks as hired are automatically removed after a short review period. You can contact us at any time to request that your account and associated data be deleted.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at info@getinterned.com.
Interned uses cookies required for you to stay signed in, and, for admins, a session cookie for the admin panel. We don't currently use cookies for advertising or tracking.
Interned is intended for users 16 years of age or older.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above.
